Ayate Dipika Purushottam did M.Sc from Dr. P. D. K. V., Akola & PhD Forest Genetic resources from Dr. Y. S. P. U. H. F., Nauni, Solan (Himachal Pradesh) with specialization in Forest Genetic Resources (Forestry). She has published 3 book chapters and 15 research papers in various reputed journals at the National and International level. Currently, she is associated with BTSG-KFRI in germplasm collection of bamboo, vegetative propagation, establishing bamboo Plantations, and nursery management.

Her Research Interests are Bamboo germplasm collection, establishment and standardization of vegetative propagation techniques.
