Inviting application for bamboo Block/Boundary plantations through subsidies

As per the revised operational guidelines of the National Bamboo Mission, Kerala State Bamboo Mission is inviting applications for establishing bamboo Block/Boundary Plantations. To know more about this project, please refer to the revised operational guidelines of the National Bamboo Mission (Annexure-I)

Applications can be forwarded to BTSG-KFRI for the screening and recommendation of suitable species. Financial assistance of up to 10 hectares will be provided to individual farmers as well as to each member of Farmer-Producer Organisations (FPOs), Farmer-Producer Companies (FPCs), Cooperatives, Village Producers' Organisations (VPOs), and Self-Help Groups (SHGs).

Certified planting material must be used, along with proper agronomic practices, to ensure good yield. The indicative cost/unit is rupees 1.20 lakh per hectare (minimum 400 plants/ha) or Rs. 300 per plant (for boundary plantation with a nominal spacing of 5m).
